SpaceX is planning the third orbital test of its Starship rocket on Thursday, March 14, and you can check out the event online for free.

This massive rocket, standing over 122 meters tall, is made up of two parts. The first one is a reusable upper stage made of stainless steel, also known as “Starship,” and the second part is a Super Heavy first-stage booster. Starship is currently the biggest and most powerful rocket ever made. Its main goal is to help astronauts travel to the moon and eventually Mars, enabling them to undertake longer space missions and maybe even set up homes on other planets.

SpaceX announced the launch on its X feed.

The live stream of Starship’s third flight is set to kick off on Thursday at 11:30 UTC or 2230 AEDT. The company mentioned that the stream will start 30 minutes before the launch, indicating a tentative liftoff time of around 12:00 GMT or 23:00 AEDT on Thursday, March 14. You can also catch a livestream of the rocket’s test on Space.com’s YouTube channel at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dr8ZaMAa5jw or on X @SpaceX.

It will also fly a new trajectory, with Starship targeted to splashdown in the Indian Ocean.
